Early in the fall each year, the game industry gathers in Austin, TX for a week-long expo – Game Developers Conference Online – to discuss everything online gaming. Wargaming and BigWorld were on-hand to meet with media and members of the video game industry alike – showcasing World of Tanks and our upcoming titles, World of Warplanes and World of Battleships.
We also had a chance to record a few videos at the BigWorld booth, where attendees had a chance to check out the latest and greatest for World of Tanks and other great games built on BigWorld technology.
In the first video, Chris Keeling – Wargaming Military Advisor – talks about the realism in contemporary war games, World of Tanks and a special historical artifact that Wargaming received from the folks at BigWorld.
The second video shows off the after party at The Art Department, where BigWorld Technology developers presented Victor Kislyi – CEO of Wargaming – with a surprise trophy, for excellence in record-setting and game development on BigWorld-powered World of Tanks, as well as the upcoming World of Warplanes and World of Battleships.
