Wargaming.net is excited to announce that this year World of Tanks has been nominated for the 29th annual Golden Joystick Awards in the Best Free-to-Play game category! Thank you to all of our dedicated tankers; it’s because of you that World of Tanks has received this prestigious nomination.
The task is not complete, though. The Golden Joystick Awards are based on fan voting, meaning you have the power to help World of Tanks win! To cast your vote, visit the Golden Joysticks website and click the “Vote” button. You’ll then be asked to register your votes with a valid email address. Be sure to complete this step so your vote is counted!
If World of Tanks takes home the “Best Free-to-Play” award, we’ll be holding a special 5x experience event. For one day, the first victory for each of your tanks will reward 5x normal experience, rather than the standard bonus of 2x!
The Golden Joystick Awards are the world’s longest standing gaming awards ceremony, which acknowledges the best computer and video games of the year, as voted for by the general public. More than one million people partake in the voting annually, which contributed to the Golden Joystick Awards securing a place in the Guinness Book of World Records.
