If you're in the Corpus Christi, Texas area on November 22 and looking for a fun way to spend your Saturday, why not pay a visit to the USS Lexington Museum with The Chieftain and The Warhawk? The guys will be in front of the museum at 1:00pm ready to meet up with anyone interested in touring the museum with them.
The USS Lexington has a long service history with the US Navy; she participated in practically every major operation in the Pacific Theater during World War II and served as a training ship for the best part of three decades before being decommissioned in 1991. She also holds a number of records, including being the first aircraft carrier to deploy air-to-surface missiles and being the first carrier in US Naval history to have women stationed aboard as crew members.
Nowadays the USS Lexington is a totally self-sufficient museum that's home to no fewer than 20 historical aircraft on loan from the National Museum of Naval Aviation. Come and join us at this great floating piece of naval and aviation history!
Standard fees apply for museum admission: $13.95 for adults, $8.95 for children, $11.95 for seniors and military.
