Congratulations to the winners of our first ever clan tournament, FORGE and their team captain BarrooM. We hope to see the FORGE team again in our next series of clan tournaments.
With 81 teams and 1220 total participants, “Absolute Power” was one of our largest tournaments to date. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, so you can be sure this event will be a mainstay among our tournaments. At the moment we’re planning on having another clan tournament next quarter. We also have some other clan related tournaments in store for you within the coming year!
The French tanks also made their debut during last week’s tournament. Both finalists, NDP and FORGE, used the AMX 50Bs and Bat Chatillon 25 ts to great effect. The French tanks definitely filled more of a “support” role, which was to be expected. Despite the role filled by the French tanks, T30s still appeared in abundance, including both finalist teams; thus alleviating some of the fear that they would be replaced by the new French lines. Although, I’m sure, we’re all curious to see what will happen to the T30 after the 7.2 update.
We’d like to thank all of the clans that were able to participate in the “Absolute Power” tournament. We hope to see an even larger turnout next quarter!
