We’ve developed changes specifically geared toward improving the matchmaking system. These updates will take place with the next server restart and are intended to improve the matchmaking experience at all tiers of the game.
The changes look to address comfort levels players have with their tanks while they are still learning them, providing an optimal experience to ease you into each new tier of the game. While queue times have increased slightly with the implementation of the new monitoring system, it will allow matchmaking to make tier range within a match much tighter than previously in many cases.
As always, we encourage feedback on the matchmaking system and will continue watching for ways we can improve the gameplay experience in World of Tanks.
