The First Season's end date has been adjusted to December 21, 2015 at 1200 UTC.
We're happy to announce the beginning of Seasons on the Global Map! Find out how the Global Map will change with the implementation of Seasons.
A “Season” represents a period of time when Clans fight on special fronts with their own settings. Seasonal fronts will operate for a limited time and at the end of each Season the winners will be determined in each of the formats – tiers VI, VIII and X.
How Seasons Differ from Usual Gameplay on Global Map
- Season parameters can be set depending on the Clan's needs (tank tiers, front size, territory status/profitability) with flexible Global Map settings
- Fights on the Global Map will now have an end time. Having set timeframes for each Season will help to determine true winners and recognize them with special Season awards
- At the end of each Season, fronts will be wiped and players will be able to participate in an event or Campaign for awesome prizes on the Global Map. This way, Seasons will prepare Clans for the bigger events and prizes
- Unlike gaming events or Campaigns that require rigorous activity, Clan actions during Seasons will be more flexible with each Clan choosing the intensity of their actions themselves
- During a Season, there will be a special ranking where Clans can track their achievements, similar to the Alley of Fame during events or Campaigns. The results of each Season will be kept on archive pages for reviewing
The First Season will start on October 14 with the tier VI Seasonal Front, along with the "Operation Safari" event, and will last until November 16. During the first Season, Seasonal model mechanics will be tested. After the event ends, the tier VIII and X Seasonal Fronts will be begin. At the end of the First Season, the best Clans will be awarded with unique medals, Clan badges and First Season participant emblems for each division.
The First Season terms may change slightly and will be announced in advance. In case "Operation Safari" and tier VI Seasonal Front begin at the same time, the tier VI Seasonal Front will last longer than the tier VIII and X Fronts. Each Seasonal Front finish at the end of the Season.
Geography and Tier VI Season Front Settings
The tier VI Seasonal Front will be located in the United States and will cover the territory from the West Coast to the Midwest.
How the Global Map Will Change
- Province rebalanced and consolidated, which will significantly expand the geography of the front
- Total number of provinces on the tier VI front is 340
- Added penalty system for Clans absent in battles
- Disabled the "Bomber Squadron" module's strategic effect - when applying the module, it will not close the attacked province’s borders
- The arrows between provinces are now clickable for easy movement on the Map
- Improved the system for province distribution based on prime-time
- Changed map set:

Penalty System
1. In the First Season on the Global Map, a battle absence (or technical defeat) penalty system will become active. The system operates automatically and reacts to the results at the end of each battle.
2. If a Clan with a Division on a province enters a battle and the team consists of less than five players, penalties will be applied to the Clan.
3. The penalty system is progressive; the more violations a Clan has, the harsher the penalties will be.
4. A Clan’s first three violations will result in a warning notification. After three warnings, penalties will be applied to the Clan for each subsequent violation.
5. The system is configured to select the level of punishment on the basis of information about violations in the last seven days.
6. The list of penalties for rules violation is show in the table below, which becomes active after three warnings:
Number of absences for the last 7 days | Penalties |
---|---|
1 |
Warning notification to Clan |
2 |
10% total Victory Points fine 10% Clan Influence points fine |
3 |
10% total Victory Points fine 20% Clan Influence points fine 50% fewer landing tournaments applications on Seasonal Front |
4 |
10% total Victory Points fine 30% Clan Influence fine 100% fewer landing tournaments applications on Seasonal Front |
7. Penalty system example:
If a Clan had a first offense four days ago and today had another, the system evaluates the number of violations in the past seven days, and will apply to the Clan sanctions referred to in row two of the table above. If both Clans do not show up for a battle, the system will count an offense to both Clans.
